Hi, my name is Michael Loving and I have over 30 years experience with electric motor and generator repair in the mining and power generation industries. Fascinated with electrical apparatus at a young age, my career started in a mining motor repair shop in 1983 in Clay, West Virginia. Fortunately, my father, Howard Loving, took the time to mentor me over the years and I quickly learned that you never say “I can’t”. After the mine repair shop, I went to work for a large utility company, where I worked for 14 years as a motor/generator technician.  Duties there included but were not limited to Turbine repair, Dynamic Balancing and Form Coil Manufacturing.  I moved to Roanoke Virginia in 2001 and worked for a well known electric motor repair shop until the fall of 2011. Seeing more things turn to automation, I felt there was a great need for a facility to repair industrial servo motors in this area.  Servo Motors are used on robots for everything from the automotive industry to the printing industry and basically any industry that uses automation. Hence, I opened Blue Ridge Servo Motor Repair, LLC in November of 2011.  We will always strive for the highest level of customer satisfaction through direct customer communication and timely repair of your motors.  We use the highest quality parts and won’t settle for less, with one year warranty on parts and labor.   We are conveniently located just off interstate 81 in Salem Virginia, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
